Dr. Usagi Kevin Ememwa is a Kenyan physician, researcher, and ethicist with over 15 years of experience across clinical medicine, public health policy, and global health research. His work focuses on the intersection of cardiometabolic disease, digital health, and community-based participatory research, with a specific emphasis on the ethical deployment of AI in health systems. Dr. Ememwa has contributed to major research initiatives funded by the NIH, NIHR, REACH UHC, and GDPC. He holds a WHO certification in AI and Health Governance and is currently completing an MSc in International Health Research Ethics at Moi University. Driven by a commitment to health equity, he aims to build data-driven, AI-enabled clinical infrastructure tailored to African populations. In his spare time, he is an active competitor in machine learning challenges.
